    • Please read more about our Ratings Policy.

  • DUPR stands for Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating. It’s a global rating system used to evaluate a player’s skill level, based on match results rather than just assessments or drills.

    • DUPR uses an algorithm that tracks your performance in games (both wins and losses).

    • It considers who you playhow close the scores are, and whether games are singles or doubles.

    • The more games you log, the more accurate your DUPR becomes.

    1. Create a free account at mydupr.com or through the DUPR app.

    2. Link your account with Calgary Pickleball Club!! Look for Clubs, then search for Calgary Pickleball Club.Join.

    3. Record your matches—this can be done automatically through tournaments or manually via partner verification.

    4. You need a minimum of 25 scored matches for your rating to stabilize.

    • CPC accepts DUPR as proof of your skill level for lessons, drills, and rated events. Once you link CPC with your DUPR account, your DUPR rating is automatically linked to CourtReserve, our booking system.

    • For example, to join 3.5 level plays, you must have an existing club rating (see our Ratings Policy), or a DUPR rating of at least 50 recorded games and have a reliability score of 60% or greater (aligned with DUPR’s current standard).

    DUPR Rating Scale (for reference):

    Level & Skill Description:

2.5 - Beginner: just learning rules and technique

3.0 - Intermediate: can keep a rally going

3.5 - More control and some strategy

4.0+ Advanced competitive play and tactics
