2021-2022 CPC Indoor Pickleball
All CPC members will have to bring proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test to every location. After October 25th, proof of 2 vaccination shots will be needed. This is required by the City of Calgary, Alberta Health Services and each recreation or community facility.
Please assess your own skill level carefully. If you do not have a club or tournament rating, do not over-rate your skill. If you are guessing at a self-rating, it is better to start low and work up. Junior Varsity Volleyball Centre (JVC)
The Junior Varsity Volleyball Centre (JVC) is at #130 10 Smed Lane SE. CPC will host play every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. CPC members must sign up for all play on signupgenius.com (SUG). Look for the JVC Sign Up lists, pick your day, skill level and sign up. Each signup will open 4 days in advance. Players pay a drop-in fee at the door with a JVC punch card. Old punch cards are still honoured at face value. New cards are $79.92 for 8 sessions. Players use one punch per session.
Monday
9 am to 12. Novice Mentored play for players who are still learning the game. There is room for 9 players to sign up on 2 courts, plus a space for the mentor. This session is open for the first 9 people to sign up. Sign up opens 4 days before the start time of the session or every Thursday at 9 am. Payment is with a JVC punch card at the door.

9 am to 12. Intermediate - Advanced play. This session is for players who are self-rated, or club rated between 2.5 and 3.5. There is room for 20 players on 4 courts. Sign up opens 4 days before the start time of the session or every Thursday at 9 am. Payment is with a JVC punch card at the door.

12 pm to 3 pm. Players with a 3.0 + skill level on 6 courts. This is mixed open play.

Wednesday
9 am to 12. Players with a 2.0 to 2.9 skill level on 3 courts. This is mixed open play.
12 pm to 3 pm. Players with a 3.0 + skill level on 6 courts. This is mixed open play.

Friday Morning
This play is intended for pairs or mixed partners. You will play as a team with the partner you signed up with for the entire session. There is one signup per team. You can sign up with a different partner every week.
9 am to 12. Mixed pairs with a skill level of 2.0+ on 2 courts. A maximum of 5 pairs can sign up.
9 am to 12. Mixed pairs with a skill level of 3.0+ on 2 courts. A maximum of 5 pairs can sign up.

Friday Afternoon
This play is for mixed pairs. You will play as a team with the partner you signed up with. There is one signup per team. You may sign up with a different partner every week. All pairs playing in the 3.5+ and 4.0+ skill level must qualify with either a club or tournament rating in their skill level. No self-rating is allowed. See criteria in the SUG sign up.
12 pm to 3. mixed pairs with a skill level of 3.5+ on 3 courts. A maximum of 6 pairs can sign up plus the host pair.

Sunday
9 am to 12. Players rated 3.5+. We are allowing 10 players on 2 courts. Payment will be with a JVC punch card at the door. Sign up opens 4 days before the start time of the session or every Wednesday at 9 am.

Bowness Community Hall
The Bowness Community Hall is at, 7904 - 43 Avenue NW. CPC is hosting play every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. There will be a fee of $6.00 to play each session. Registration and payment will be through SignUp Genius (SUG) and signup will open 4 days before each session. You must sign up each week to play.
Tuesday sessions are for players with a 2.0 to 2.9 skill level. (Novice-Intermediate).

The Cavalry FC Field House is located at, 125 Fieldhouse Drive East, Okotoks (Aldersyde). CPC is hosting play every Monday from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Sessions are reserved for players with a 4.0 + and 4.5+ skill level. There are 3 courts for each level.
To qualify for this play you must have either a club rating or a tournament rating in the skill level you intend to play. No self ratings are allowed.
